First post, first submission.

no particular story to tell about this, sorry i'm not really good at narrative in a language which is not my own. But let me say that this is maybe too moody and too slow to be the theme from the latest Vin Diesel.

The year is 2112, and mankind through the sciences, mainly biotechnology, has achieved a state of physical and mental perfection. Some might even describe them as God-like in status. Problem is the real God has returned, just as promised so many years ago, but mankind had long given up on him and moved on. Turns out true to his word again he's a vengeful and jealous God just as he said, bringing death, destruction and pestilence to the people of Earth. The new visitor with his destructive ways is viewed as an enemy and these Super-Earthlings muster all their resources in a massive battle to overthrow the ultimate foe, eventually to become The New Gods.

The world created is in dire need of a rugged hood, a balance for all good that was created. Ruled by frogs mankind is on a downhill trip and the only liberation to be expected is from those that inhabit the hood. Located in the Mc-R quadrant they are on a rampage where few realize the task at hand. Vehicles that are dented and on their last wheels are the only way of transportation. Will they succeed in overruling the frogs; or will they end up devided and forever lost.

Config: Cubase5.1/Wavelab/EP from the SY/bassline 1 from the fizmo/fast sequences from the fizmo/gliding notes from the fizmo/there's a claw in there/and also two M42's/Ersdrums is taking care of the drums/splashes from the Juno/endorphin for final comp/loads of FX in which quite a few filter plugs
And last but not least the final bassline is borrowed from You-TM initially created as: Rising Stars - milkmaidmotorbike (thanks George )

I thought it would be a cool idea to make a movie of Enki Bilal's Nikopol trilogy, and I made some fitting muzak for it.
As I was looking for some nice images to show the atmosphere for the people unknown with Bilal's work, I discovered the movie already exists.
Oh well.

On the planet Foresta, far away in the deep depths of the universe, is a secret base. The base is called VSTi1".

An enemy ship is approaching. Preparations are underway. Vsti1 sounds the alarm. The gates from the mountain are opened, and ships will soon be launched to assist KVR1 on his mission to protect the base.

The enemy ship is getting closer.. Kvr1, a friendly pilot, shoots at the enemy ship, but his weapons are too whimpy... he can't do anything to the enemy ship, so he tries to escape... he is being pursued... again, he fires a few rounds of his wimpy laser at an incoming shuttle... what will happen next..

In Poul Anderson's novel, a handful of medieval knights capture a spaceship and overthrow a galactic empire. Here is some of the music from the movie that should made be of it. The first and third sections are based on a couple of thirteenth-century tunee; the second and fourth are versions of the fifteenth-century "l'Homme Armé." UFO was one of my first favorite TV shows. I mostly remember the gorgeous grimy hardware and the piercing sound of the alien spaceships (which you'll hear in the intro to my song). I haven't seen UFO in years but I imagine by todays standards, it probably seems sluggish and silly. I still think the vehicles and the music look and sound fantastic. I didn't do justice to the original score, but here's my tribute to this Barry Gray classic. I arranged it in Digital Performer, Fruityloops 4 Pro and mixed it in Live. I used a lot of outboard gear including the trusty ol' PSR-520, a Moog Prodigy, a Microwave XT and a Juno 60. Homestyle Cheesy played guitar. I even blistered my hand manically shaking the tambourine! You might also be able to hear a vurtbox, vurtbox mini, Novakill MindKiller, iblit, several mda efx, DFX Geometer, Apple MatrixReverb, Pluggo (jkLimoFive) and Eqium. The samples came from Marc Martin's UFO series homepage.

Did the new modern humand species (Homo Sapiens Sapiens) almost become extinct before its rise to power? After many millenia of relatively peaceful existence, the new species is in jeopardy. In the last mellenia the older species, the Neadertals, have begun fighting back -- at first in random hunting raids and game thefts, but most recently in what can only be called full scale war bordering on genocide.

Now there are fewer than a thousand modern humans left, huddled in a few small groups near Lascaux and Chauvet. Massive armies of neandertals approach on a dark moonless night as our ancestors begin their chants and hymns, in a faint hope that their gods of the night sky will save them. It is a tact that has failed before, previously with massive stone homages and statues. All they have left now is a prayer: will the aliens intervene on their behalf?
