Ladies and Gentlemen :)
Are there any Soundbanks or Presets available from any Sounddesigners ?
Commercial or Free, doesn't matter.

Thanks

Not AFAIK but i would be plased to hear if there are any.

I am working on one myself but no idea when it is finished. Not so easy as i already did many patches for the factory content.

well, in fact there are 200 great patches by "DS" not released yet by Waldorf. Frederic probably forgot about these due to OS updating and other tasks ...

Nice. :) tbh i've still not got through exploring all the factory patches yet. I always end up getting 'distracted' by something nice that I end up tweaking and forgetting that I was supposed to be checking out all the patches. :hihi:

Obviously no word.

too bad :-( no Pulse2 for me so. i'll stick with Diva :-) it's not real analog but is very good sounding.
thanks for you reply!

Post

That doesn't mean it won't ever happen. Just means that Waldorf didn't state anything regarding 14-bit CC support in public.

Post

how can you define your modulation experience with Pulse2?
do you think is worth gettin' it even if this limitation will remain?

Post

I don't have a Pulse 2 myself, but personally I wouldn't be concerned with lack of 14-bit CC... That's just me.

sounds nice.

After listening to demos of it over and over again I couldn't resist and have order a Pulse 2. I got message today that its been sent and I am really looking forward to hook it up and play with it.

I'm trying to decide between this and the DSI Tetra. I like the Tetra because it's 4 part multi-timbral so I can use it for analogue drums. On the other hand, I think the Pulse 2 sounds better from the sound demos.

Has anyone directly compared the 2 units?

I considered the Tetra 2 for quite a while, and demo'd one, but the interface makes editing too much of a pain IMO. The matrix interface on the Pulse 2 is much quicker and more instant hands on with most parameters being to hand or one button push away with no menu diving. (A large part of why I like to have hardware)

Obviously the Pulse 2 can't do 4 part multi-timbral, but it can do up to 8 note paraphony, which I find preferable, and yes, it sounds better, so all in all i'd recommend the Pulse 2 if being multi-timbral and having 4 separate voice outputs isn't a necessity. (It's not for me as I have other synths that are multi-timbral)
