Who's your currency dealer?

I think I can't give you more than about 82 bucks for 59 euro ;)
I was about to correct it but then Telekom brakes my connection today down to 32 kbit, it's so slow that it need some minutes to post (or correct) something... :x

What do you think of prices for Bruno, Alpha Ray upgrade or first versions of Gamma Ray?
Not an argument looking for thoughts on pricing on those synths.
Phasewave costs 59 EUR which is $81 - way too much for a Synthedit synth, especially in times where others are giving their SE synths away for free. Compare it with the prices of HGFortune synths... I'd pay $81 for SynthMaster but not for a Synthedit synth...
Thx for the thoughts. I have installed the CM version of Synthmaster and the free player version. Great initial impressions so far. I considering this purchase in the future. Pretty loaded up with instruments for now.

You have all the clues you need, the information you crave is somewhere in here

Max Synths' Crisalys is also a hefty 70 euros, i.e. around 100 dollars :P
I assume he doesn't sell more than one copy per month, maybe even fewer.

I paid zero for Crisalys and Cryologic.

I had to book hotel rooms anyhow, and got the plugs for free with trialpay :tu:

I figured out you had been looking at a KVR listing from 2006.
The listing from the real world says it`s no longer available.
Made an edit to my post.

I think Matrix 8000 (KVR dev challenge 2012) is a fantastic SE synth:

Did anybody mention Manx?: http://www.manxsynthesizers.com

Looked at their site, and seems prices have been cut rather drastic, the most expensive synth plug they sell is SuperJay, now costing just $25 :o

Too lazy to read through this but my top ones that I still use regularly would be

Psychic Modulation Phonec
Psychic Modulation Dubtron2
xoxos Adze
KX77Free Kx-PolyMod

Can't remember the last time I made a track that didn't have phonec in it.

Been having a lot of fun with Kx-PolyMod too lately, making sounds so wrong they're right.

I still got love for synthedit, and use it myself a fair bit to make my own oddities. Shame the development has been so slow that many devs have ditched it, taking their expertise along with it. I'm not into dsp programming in C++, so without some of the more obvious 3rd party module makers working on the platform (DH, CK, EVM) I can't see me pushing ahead with the newer vst3 alphas and 64bit and all that.

Q. Why is a mouse when it spins?
A. The higher the fewer.

I remember trying one of those synths, I was not impressed...

Manx seems to almost want to give away their plug, as this demo statement goes to show:
The 'Demo' version of the Bit-100 is well worth having even if you never intend to purchase the retail version. The demo version never expires and provides all the functionality of the retail Bit-100. What you get is a one second gap in the audio output that occurs once every two minutes - more of a nuisance than anything else. Whilst this may be a problem for live use, you can have a lot of fun with the Bit-100 Demo in the studio and if you want to use it in a composition, just wait for the one second drop out to occur and start recording with two minutes of output at your disposal. Think of the Bit-100 Demo as a gift
You don't often see devs condoning such tips and tricks:
"just wait for the one second drop out to occur and start recording with two minutes of output at your disposal."
:o :D

:D That's indeed quite unusual :)

If my next songs are exactly 2 minutes long, you'll know what happened...
