The young man is blind. I can`t say if he is also a savant.

i read an article about him a few years ago and he's no savant.

Yeah, that`s what hit me immediately, how cleanly he actuates those keys.
He does justice to that Steinway. Like to hear him on a brightly voiced Yamaha...maybe I will. I intend on listening to more of him on Youtube.
About whether he is a savant or not I don`t know any background on him yet.
I wonder what`s up though, when I see him playing that toy piano when he`s two.
At the audition, he is well behaved and able to take instruction, but he doesn`t seem to be communicating with his interpreter. Doesn`t really matter to me, but if he is, he`s in a whole different league then those who are just great mimics.

For those interested, found a "Nobuyuki Tsujii - Concert at Carnegie Hall (HD)" stream. Appears to be at least 43mins. Plays Liszt and Moussorgsky - Pictures at an Exhibition. (not from Youtube)

It`s not youtube it`s youku.You won`t find this on youtube.
Anyway, his name and vid title are in my post above.
If you have the app 'adblock' or maybe some other adware blocker on, set it to off for that youku page. If you see a smilely face on the vid screen the blocker is blocking an add that is wanting to play first.
Remove the adblocker and the ad runs, then plays the vid.
