So what do you guys think about the Beach Boys? I love them. They're like the craziest band that has ever existed. They have done everything from Rock'n roll to early moog synth pop, gospel, and... well you name it. They had fantastic voices. Brian Wilson had the most interesting voice in the band. Cause it changed so drasticaly through the years. But when he was in his pröä in the early 70's he had such a great voice. The love you album is full of moog. So let's hear it... is there any more Beach Boys fans out in this crazy round blob we're living in?

In the 60s they recorded some great songs but things started to fall apart in the 70s, then forget about anything beyond the end of the 70s.
I think Dennis Wilson produced much better solo material than any of the others, and he was probably a more interesting pianist than a drummer.
Not sure I agree that Brian had the most interesting voice in the band as I think Carl was by far the most interesting singer, but they all had something a little different in their voices.

Wow fast reply RoboJam! Yeah, Carl sure had a great voice. He was probably the technicaly greatest singer in the band. He could sing rock'roll song like no one else. But i think that Brian had the most interesting timbre regarding the voices. He went from great falsetto "don't worry baby" to more soft singing "busy doin nothing". When i listen it feels like Brian was very interesting expreminting with his voice. Well, that wad until it was shoot at '76. Dennis.. yeah, what could i say. He actually composed songs that i've actually cried to. And that happens almost never nowdays cause i'm hard as a rock. But Dennis songs really get to me. They are like.. so sincere. And Dennis had a great voice aswell. Just listen to "woyldn't it be nice to live sgain". Amazing voice. I wished the Beach Boys had used his voice more until it also got shoot. (like Brian).
