hi folks

cannot figure out how to get Steinberg Groove Agent's drum patterns to 'record' into Sonar 3.

Can anyone help with this?

At this point, you will need a VST wrapper that supports MIDI loopback, such as DirectiXer:

What do you mean by "drum patterns", Audio or Midi? You can trigger GA's drum patterns in the pianoroll view. The manual tells you how to do that.

For recording Midi you need a VST wrapper that supports Midi Loopback (as Jackyo123 said).

question - will that also let me record stuff that doesnt have a midi-out, such as Steinberg Virtual Guitarist?
