Best drums packages

Hi, I know it may sound arbitrary and negative but here is what I've found for myself so far after years of small efforts as well.

If you want different results than package drums, you can do it yourself better. Youll make something more different than the rest and also, just the way you might want if you practice it.

I really like ableton operator. I really like the multimic package as well. I also really like some of the processed drums that's are in suite ableton 8. They need little adjusting because they start out so good. MAybe just an eq necasary. You can get radical changes and even make acoustic drums sound synthesized with an EQ because in different ranges of the eq you get the sound frewuencys that are more gritty, s"ing, or smooth or high. you need to be like a body scuplter, and sculpt you sound for originality. Otherwise yeh just go pick out a package. But hey how do I know what you want????????????

SOrry, I noticed your looking for real acoustic drums. right? im confused also with what you want. KVR is a mostly VST type place I think.

Personally I think when it comes to acoustic drums. you pick it out on flavor and personality. its all up to you. right? but how would I know what you want if you don't ask and tell me what you want your drums to sound like?

I realize you must be frustrated. forums can be when new to them. it involves time and relaxation.
