Mine is Nord-red as well.

Hey, since all you Synth1 users are here, I need to ask for help.
Does anyone use Synth1 in FruityLoops?
When I open it inside FL, Synth1 becomes out of tune, and therefore unusable. I've tried adjusting the pitch in FL, but it's futile and I'm stumped. Any explanations?

hey I've been using Synth 1 in FL for a year and a half now. It's actually the synth I use the most, probably on 75% of my songs. And I have never had any problem, in fact it must be the only synth I've never had a problem.

Fixed it. I noticed that Synth1 was loading up as a DX instead of a vst. Switched it around and it works fine now.

Thank you very much Bones for the info on SYnth 1. This is terrific news and "My Duh."

I'm going to be playing with synth 1 mor often now, and I'm voting to remove it from the Ugliest GUI thread that's going on.

I'll try out karmakiller tonight also.

Synth1 is still my fav after trying all the other synths !

For pads I love synth 1 it is up there with Dune BE, Alchemy player, Firebird and oatmeal for pads.

It also has decent leads as well but among free synths I like a number of synths better for leads. in the free synth category I love Prodigious it is awesome, Minimogue VA / Luxus, Antitranspirant free, voyager, obxd, Charlatan, Monofury

these I like more for leads but synth 1 is among the favorites in pad sounds.

my commercial synths are not that much better than synth 1 on pads I love its pads
