Not just either, go to a ritzy mall in the city and you'd be hard pressed to find anything under 400 out of hundreds of stores selling even the most basic of commodities. There isn't much difference between malls of 'regular' nature and them selling basically same stuff just different prices at roughly the same ratios of what they can afford is mindlessly and heartlessly pitiable.

However, while you may not agree with certain laws, generally speaking, banks and governments don't 'steal' your money. They get your money using laws that are on the books. Usually. Not to say that it DOESN'T happen, but when your money is taken by them illegally, you can, and should, report them as well.

I'm sure that there is stealing that is lawful or just some things are really hard to enforce due to the blurring of individual and corporation. I don't think 'law' and 'ethics' are synonyms, so I think 'lawful' cannot through itself vacate 'theft' as you are seeking here.

I think narc'ing on people for pirating is really puny. I don't agree with the pirate ways, especially as a lot of people that are not poor at all do it, but in the scheme of things (which is nearly every rich person stole, f**ked people over majorly, or inherited from their parents what did), this is really societally misplaced. Proceed with empathy, do you want to hurt someone concretely in order to 'help teh developers' as an abstraction?

You conveniently missed my other part of relative value being the key term in defining overpriced. Compare a ferari to a bmw both offering similar horsepower, features etc, but one much more expensive, you still consider not over priced because someone is willing to pay for it. Tshirt example should be all to obvious but the same cotton priced at 800 dollars is still not over priced relative to what is similar on the market. This is final conjecture on this point cause this debate is absurd and we are just arguing intended definitions about relatively pointless topic having nothing to do with the op's thread. Absolutely I do. It's not about money at all. It's about living my dreams which, unfortunately require money to fulfill. Holidays. Nice food. Nice house. Not living pay cheque to pay cheque.
