Using jBridge and the 32Bit version is working. So it seems a bug with the 64Bit VST implementation.
64bit version of DUNE2 in Cubase 7.5.20 64bit Win 7 is running fine here. Any extra info about this crash? Is it causing a crash of Cubase itself?
It crashes Cubase.
Win 8.1 here.. so it must be some incompatibility with Win 8, Cubase 7.5.20 for the 64Bit version.

The sync is really insane!!!! Awesome creating my own patches easily.. Too bad you can't automate in demo version or am I missing something? If I decide to save patches can they be recalled with paid version?

*** NOTE: Demo version limitations ***

- Demo version expires after 30 days
- Patches cannot be saved or recalled, host automation is disabled.
- 64 demo patches provided, the full version comes with more than 350 patches.

Hopefully, one day in the near future we'll all have CPU's and audio interfaces that can run multiple instances of something like this using buffers with few samples, without cracks, pops and glitches. :D

What I really liked about DUNE 1 is that it ran smoothly on a strong PC with maximum polyphony.

The situation with this one, considering it's been coded by people who, as far as I've been told, definitely know a thing or two about assembler and have taken their time to come out with a proper new version with multi-core support and everything, isn't really that promising.

It does sound good with DUNE 1 level of polyphony though, but I was hoping the CPU hit on the new DUNE would be much lower (yes, even considering how great it sounds).

This way it's almost like Diva. :(

P.S.

Small hint: in WT mode you can hover the cursor over the "Position" knob and use the scroll wheel to check out various WTs (and I'm guessing the mod matrix allows you to morph them, like in Zebra for example).

Ah, thanks for clarifying. I've reported it to the team.

Don't worry i was just kidding by the fact there weren't any mp3 demos on the related page (ransome of success !!!) ..."deep meditation" is nothing but silence

meanwhile i downloaded the demo and had a short overview on what this synth is capable of (and how easy it is to tweak !)

...so just don't pay too much attention !

I am running Windows 7 SP1 64 bit and it is crashing Nuendo 64 bit here, although Maschine 2 is seeing the vst 64 version fine.
But in Nuendo, instant crash............

Wow!
The EFFECTS are simply amazing now.
That reverb is the best onboard reverb I've heard from a synth.
The distortion is also much better, and the effects altogether are a major improvement from the first version.
The work window for settings is also way better.
Have to keep digging with this synth.
Did I mention the effects are amazingly good! :tu:

edit: Forgot to say that with the multi-core on. This synth uses the least cpu of any synth I own, and that includes the Korg synths, which are known for low cpu usage.

edit: A lot of the sounds, sound like they could have been done using DUNE1, but many others sound like they could only be done using DUNE2. Particularly the pads, and arps. The leads, basses, and plucks sounds not so much.

It's definitely worth the upgrade though.
