Hi Attila,
downloaded 2.7b3 this morning, played around a little bit and found this strange behaviour:
I have these FingerPicking phrases and started to apply some variations. The 1st phrase got a Staccato-Legato, Permutate Chord Notes and Swap Chord Notes. I liked the result so moved on to apply variations to the 2nd phrase and suddenly applying a Permutate Chord Notes to it changed the 1st phrase.
It only happens when the 1st phrase also has a Permutate Chord Notes variation that is active (with the check box checked).
See these two screenshots, you can see that the 2nd phrase is selected and adding the variation to it changes a note in the 1st one.

Hope you can reproduce this and it's an easy issue to fix.

Hello Max,

thank you very much for reporting this bug! It turned out that the random number generator created a different result for each rendering the track which was not right. 3 variations were affected, now those are all fixed (in the next beta version).

Ah ! A new bug !

Open RC
Make simply a double-clic to generate a state "dirty" (I think in IT it's called like this when something is not yet saved) in the composition... This simple double-click places a phrase, but you can do what you want instead of it.
Then click the red button to close RC
It asks you if you want to save.
And beware: you answer... by the button Cancel !

And now... puf puf... you can't close RC anymore.

Thanks to our operating systems, we have a task manager.

Exact. Reproduced minutes ago in VST mode with the last beta version: There's no MIDI message sent to the MIDI output of the selected track when clicking on a phrase already present or when previewing one in the phrase browser.

We will continue this issue here in the topic dedicated to the bug reports.

Hi guys,
this intimidates me a little,
because i think i am missing something obvious here...
...
does batch midi import working for you ?
here is what i am doing
copy midi files to my custom phrase folder and run batch import.
but.. i see this message "conv. finished 0 phrases added".
if its not a bug,
what i am doing wrong

Yes, always do not have time to write, but I have the same ... batch converter does not work!)

and more ... when imported MIDI file , import window midi polyphonic midi file defines as mono midi file visually, but imports normally as polyphonic midi file

Weird, batch midi import works for me.
You probably have a phrase with the same name already in your library. Do you need an 'Overwrite' option, because existing names are skipped.

A choice "Overwrite the existing", "Rename new", "Rename existing", "Cancel" would be nice.
And with a checkbox "Memorize my choice until the end of this operation" would be even nicer.

And when you rename, don't bother yourself with another message box... Simply add an index (verifying it doesn't yet exist, of course) at the end of the name.

PS : I haven't got myself this strange issue. I agree that it might be caused by an incident (same name... or something in the attributes of a file) during the operation.

I still do not understand what's happening with batch converter, but it is not exactly in the file names! Some midi files converted via batch converter, and some do not, but I have most of the midi files can not be converted. What is the reason, I do not know yet!

I want to midi file imported tracks on my template, but it was not added as a new track! May I be able to choose which (even empty) track accommodate new imported MIDI file!
I want to import into my empty template, but not create new tracks every time, which again need to exhibit the desired options!
This Possibility? Thank you!
