Unfortunately, I do not have Logic, so debugging will be trickey.

Does anybody know whether there are differences in how Logic opens an AU, compared to GarageBand or Reaper?

Just a wild guess: could you try to refresh the AU's in logic? Also, if there are any bands or other files stored, which belong to pg8x, could you try to remove them and try it again?

I just changed the Bundle ID (no idea whether it might make a change) and replaced the file on the dropbox, just to make sure there was no copy error.

Please, just try it again. (I don't expect much joy, though...)

Hi Martin,
still the same again.Logic want not load it you always see the little round colored ball rotate and nothing happens so you have do quite logic.

I am really puzzled. Just tried Apple's own AU validation test (auval) and it passes without problems.

Could you try to open a terminal and type:

auval -v aumu PG8X MLvs

and see whether it passes on your machine?

AU VALIDATION SUCCEEDED.

I believe the problem is maybe somewhere in the editor.

32bit dll, on windows 7 64bit ,

Poly/uni/mono recall works !
Volume Output is lower than 102a,
Chorus isn't quite what it should be..
and the Settings page is sloppy

the word UNISON disappears/appears when you hover over the other knobs.

Other than that

The GUI will get a revamp once all other things are fixed. I contacted layzer as I liked his suggestion.

Also, I still will do some fine tuning of levels, etc. right now, they are lower then should be, as I got some clipping before, and simply reduced the overall level. I will check carefully how much I can increase them again without clipping.

About the chorus, what exactly do you mean that it is not what it should be?

Does logic allow you to run a plugin without the editor but with a standard built in editor instead? This way, maybe one could confirm that it is the editor...

Did you ever experience similar problems with a different AU?

gonna ping you with another suggestion with a slightly larger, clearer font.
i think the sliders/knobs size can be 20% larger while keeping the overall
size of the gui the same. whenever you get the engine done, and the control's placement/size decided i can send you a resources zip file

I copied the first preset piano 1 from 102a and could not get the "lush" chorus sound, it just sounds not quite there ...

Try it yourself , raise the sustain and try and match the 2, the 102a sounds so much better,deeper wider.

Depth 53 Speed 71 got me close to ch1 but it just is not the same.
