My neighbor was having her son do some kind of jackhammering in her basement. We share foundation walls. Or it sounds like it anyway. I was NOT on speaking terms with her from years of her prior social abuse. When I couldn't stand it anymore, I collected my Bose PA system against the wall we share in the living room and blasted NIN Broken from minidisc, on repeat.

It got me a noise citation.

If you've seen my contributions to the "is noise inescapable" thread, you'll understand the irony.

As an amusing side note: the neighbor attempted to retaliate first with music, and "blasted" the Bee Gees through the upstairs walls.
