Thanks normal, need to work on the mix some and add a few mow sounds via the Ion.But I am happy with the results, nice to get something done after several weeks of a dry spell.

Yep, nice piece. How I miss the good old TD days, not the later crap (Destination Berlin, The Park, yuck!). This version is much better
One more comment: add a tag id to your mp3, so that in a later listening we can still remember who the author was: you deserve it!

Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.

By the way (talking about TD), anybody tried Wheel of Fortune? It works in a bit odd way, but sounds great: http://www.flomo-art.de/se/

Hey bruce.
Like how the piece is evolving so far.Very believable.
However your inputing the Ion audio to your card, sounds like something is out of balance, causing hiss/noise from somewhere.
If your not sure what`s up with that...maybe we can work it out this weekend together.I would think the noise is a real prob since it confuses any dynamics inserts.
Heard that same thing on that cd-rw you sent me!
Sorry I haven`t been around recently...well,you know me.
PS:wrote a full song.nothing yet recorded.will need solo guitar!

There is a tag on the mp3 file (Sonic7) which is the name that I ussually go by but due to changes in my ISP I was unable to use it here at KVR. My name at my work computer is Sonicseven. I can put it on the file I have on me hard drive if that will help.

As far as the noise you are hearing, not sure exactly what it is you hear but I oftem use pad sounds that are full of noises and one of them in this piece is the M-42 Nebula synth and there it sounds somewhat hissy but that is the preset I chose. I don't think it is my soundcard it is often the choice of sounds I like.
We can check it out this weekend in case I missed something.
My guitar is at the ready.

Thanks Purna, I am partial to TD from the seventies so I have not kept in touch with what they are doing now (did buy the Mota Atma cd tho) This was done with them in mind altho started with just fooling around on the Ion.You did a very good job Soniccat. Congratulations! Early years of TD without Edgar's son annoying drums

Can't wait to hear what you do with the MS2000, It has a sequencer with it and that is right up your ally me thinks. Lots of fun.

Thanks John, Yes i am happy with my choice it feels right for me (still going for the Evolver tho) It was dificult decision, like all gearheads I want more now. Not a Wakeman fan but will take the compliment.bugger i nearly missed this

Man; sometimes I forget to check on updates
What a great great great great tune this has become. This toy is becoming wax in your hands Bruce. Greatly combined with that bass-arp
Beautiful travelling sounds and just a great forward pushing motion. By the time you have the evolver too I think there's gonna be great stuff from your hand with these toys

Not a big fan of Mota Atma, but I only recently picked up DM4 and am liking it a lot, especially track 10. I think Jerome has toned it down a little with the drums, tho' he's still using the same loops.
The upcoming Edgar/Schmoelling cd should be interesting, eh?

just a little bit of filtering can really make a simple riff come alive.
Yes I am tempted to spend my rent money to get the Evolver but then I would not have anywhere to plug it in.

Thanks Mark, I find sometimes a piece of music has a life of it's own, you hear something cool and next thing you know you've got a finished tune. It is great having a new toy to help move it along,Man; sometimes I forget to check on updates

I thought Mota Atma got closer to what they did in the past than any of their other recent works, not that I paid attention tho, There are other artists that have taken the Berlin sound alot further. Not a big fan of Mota Atma, but I only recently picked up DM4 and am liking it a lot, especially track 10.
