By means of this plug-in you can easily get spacious and even “surround” sounding tracks, without utilizing a double-tracked recording technique.

Waves ADT is the best I ever heard and used.
Others are good too (Eventide H3000 Factory, Waves Doubler, Soundtoys Microshift) but nothing comes close to the ADT.

I don't know the name of it, but the Waves doubler that comes with the Musician's 1 & 2 packs is excellent. Very tweakable, tons of presets to really start you off, and very easy to use. All my lead tracks use it.

I love all my Waves.com stuff I've used. I have their doubler too.
Waves doubler is intensive and very capable. Check it out at their site, you can probably watch a video of it there too.

The waves doubler is definitely one of my go to ones, but a lot of times, although not technically a doubler) I like using a simple stereo delay with a super short delay on one side and a slightly longer one for the other side. It works nicely for a quick spread/double effect on vocals.

Übermod can be used as a nice doubler too.

I've gotten decent results with Antares AVOX 4's "DUO".
