Better alternative to soundcloud?

Really used to like soundcloud. But it seems like you cant make the default page people see as your sets since the new gui. I really liked this because I could order my songs by best instead of last uploaded. Also it seems their tag system is ruined now its hard to find genres that aren't already super common. Before I could search for like synthpop, or chillwave, ect. now its just like Electonic, Metal, ect... All the major ones. I really loved soundcloud but for these reasons I'm looking for a better alternative. Any other new rising sites, or popular ones you guys could recommend?

I use it often besides Soundcloud if I need better streaming quality. It allows playlists, promo pages for a song/album and supports embedding in Facebook (so the users see a player). You can also directly sell music and it's free.
(for selling music they ask for $5 if you make more than $30)

Its been a year and I haven't really found a replacement for soundcloud and I haven't used it lol. Anyone know any sites now? What are all the cool bands using now a days.

Like Flickr, SoundCloud has been (is being) ruined by over-engineering and marketing thinking. They seem to have reduced the audio quality too. I know of no alternatives. Eventually, I'll be forced to build a proper website again at my domain... but that too is a PITA. The Web 2.0 crap has really made the Internet a freakish hybrid between hypertext markup, page layout, server-side code execution, and pseudo programming crap in the page itself. The tools, short of plain text editor (no thank you; been there done that, done with it), are overblown and no longer truly wysiwyg (just after finally getting that bit right, CSS stepped in and ruined it all). I've neither the interest or the motivation to be an expert at freaking EVERYTHING, just to present some pleasantly designed content to a random visitor or three.

There was a site called "Virb" but it seems to cost something now (10$ a month). Or...there's always the cheap looking Soundclick! 
Otherwise I think ReverbNation is your best bet. There's also myspace, lastfm and Jamendo that gives you the possibility to upload music (unless they have changed their policies).
