Your problem is, that you are making things up on your own and act like it'd be my words.
I don't give a shit about this guy or how he walks around, because it's indeed his own thing.

Still it's obvious that this figure was created to get attention and nothing else.
Read Wikipedia. It's called "Kunstfigur" for a reason.
murnau wrote:another problem with your argumentration: he get all the points because he's looking stupid.
Also you might want to improve your reading skills.
What I said is, that it would get "not as much" points, not that it would get none without the looks.

Yeah, that's real tolerance!

But from what I've learned here at KVR is that people who call themselves "tolerant" and "open-minded" are the opposite instead...
do you noticed the :) ??? you are by far not as tricky as you think you are.

Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

you must really be dumb. the wurst figure have nothing to do with the esc. and the winner is austria! :)

Living only 60 km away from Austria, I love Austria but Wurst is not what they've deserved! :x

We all know that the ESC has its own rules. :)

Now max volume... :)

Well I've known that it was a bit of cabaret/vodviy all these years but I honestly didn't expect they'll have the bearded lady in the lead role.

Snideness aside it was obvious he'd win. He drew so much attention that it was the only logical outcome. For the first time in many years I'm actually eager to see how far everyone will take the circus next year in Wien.
Obviously a computer still can’t throw a television out of a hotel window or get drunk and be sick on the carpet, so there is little danger of them replacing drummers for some while yet. -- Nick Mason

I might have laughed about something like that 10 years ago ... but nowadays the joke is a bit dated.
You're giving ESC public way too much credit. For majority of them the shock/novelty value of such a thing is genuine, for the minority trash loving in-crowd it's good partly because it epitomizes the freak show, and partly because of the shock to their perceived lessers (the petit bourgeois).

Sorry, must post this...

The "Cordoba"-reference alone is worth to be screen-shotted.

They'll gonna have a party down there at Austria and that's what it all is about. :)

yeah some people here can't stand that others have just a good time. nothing else. thats really poor. we made our little jokes here till some haters chime in and tried to start a debate. nobody who have at least the slightest understanding of music take this serious.

So Wurst should be respected but people with a different opinion shouldn't? Where do I live? We have "freie Meinungsäußerung" in Germany!
