I'm Interested in buying some Toontrack drum midi packs. So far the songwriters packs look good because they are in verse, chorus, bridge format. I've recently been making a lot of electronic pop songs with a harder edge. If I get a songwriters pack I'll probably end up getting all 3 if they are good. Which one would someone recommend to buy as the first one, songwriters pack 1, 2, or 3?
If you have some of these packs I'd like to hear your thoughts. I would also like to hear about the other packs if you like those also.
Thanks in advance.

I have all Songwriters packs. I haven't compared them carefully but I'm recording an album nowadays and it seems like Songwriters 2 doesn't get used as often as 1 and 3. But I don't know how they would differ for you.

hmm thanks. Songwriters 2 actually seemed the most interesting to me because it had a lot of toms. I like using toms a lot. Can you link me some music you've used 1 and 3 with? rpm?

Unfortunately, I don't have anything finished at the moment. It hasn't been long since I acquired these and I've laid down some preliminary drum tracks for a few songs, but that's all. I hope to finish an album sometime in 2014.
