As edgar and me once did a performance in a wonderful old theatre over here, featuring a video-installation with pictures of the film Koyaanisqatsi (Godfrey Reggio), and our very own version of Phillip Glass´ score ..

And the hun-bugger i am i won´t give the link, but introduce you to my new section "hitparade" at my www.putte.de site .. :hihi: .. the mp3 is right there, under "hitparade".

It´s a little arrangement i did on my computer, so its not the life-thingie itself.
It´s the footage for what we were doing live then.

cheers kvr,
putte

are they to be executed?

ok - instead of listening to what you suggested, I listened to alltag from the "mein bruder der vampir" page.

It was great :)

Jeez! "Life out of balance" goes tech! :-o
I recognize from the film soundtrack section your using, that your at the height of the film`s fastest scene cutting,so the techie, high energy should have juxtapositioned well!

Did you musically interpret any other scenes,or was that your whole piece putte?

Actually,I was fortunate enough to see him,and his players, sync to the film live here in my town!Incredable!
Don`t know how he did it.But it was perfect!

Good work!
....................Don`t blame me for 'The Roots', I just live here. :x

hi annode

what we did is that we took several parts out of the original, and then did a concert with these combined with our sounds and samples + edgar´s playing.
So we didnt stick to the chronology of koyaanisqatsi.
