How do I know if my sample pack should be free or pay ware?

You could also sell or give away for free on Bandcamp.

I just bought an album of tunes made with a Kontakt instrument on Bandcamp.
You get the album and the instrument in one purchase.
He charges at least $1 or whatever you want to pay above that.

You can also specify "Pay what you want" including 0 (I think).

Anyway, you could upload your sample pack and demos of it for free.

You need to set up a PayPal account for it. They explain everything.

Try to sell your samples. If it doesn't sell, then you'll know it should be free. Promotion is important though. If you don't have the time to do it yourself, Sampleism is a great place to sell since they'll take care of promotion.
