Really like second song, really invitable to sing and swing, but really irritating distortion in guitar sample, and the keys or way to the front in threedimenson, more dividing in panning and eq would the sounds give more space, there a really crashin in to each other. Try to listen to some tracks you really like productional way and compare and try to get that sound, I will work if you try and try and compare. But for sure can see a musical person here with instrumental feelin/experience, (guitar?).
Or am i wrong/

The first song is quite horrible no good arrangment, annoying vocal and bad production, But you tottaly repaired it with the second song, keep it on

Hi Marc,
well the as you might now "SunshineSong" makes me sick just listening to it..... it's way too kitschich and Jessicas voice sounds disturbing....
the second one is good... but erm not my glass of bitterlemon.....

Heh; thanks Remco, I had missed this one in the catching up.....
Indeed some eq'ing especially the high lead and the brass conflict with one another big time. The 'distorted guitar' is where my ears pick up on layered sounds with a deep grungy bass underneath. That bass has too little low though and I think if you'd pan these two layers to the side a bit with a little eq'ing in the low regions will make both sound more present and richer in the mix.
I like this; in a way it reminds me of many things, but when that high lead comes in I think of Spinvis.
