Sample Logic is proud to release our biggest product in our companies 8 years of business.
ARPOLOGY - The Next Step In Music
ARPOLOGY™ is Sample Logic’s most groundbreaking achievement to date; the world’s first virtual instrument dedicated entirely to arpeggiated/sequenced instruments. ARPOLOGY go’s far beyond, breaking the box of the “everyday” arpeggiator. It employs an entirely new approach to step sequencing. The core of ARPOLOGY has been designed around Sample Logic’s newest invention, the powerful Step Animator™ – a step-sequencer and arpeggiator fused into a single engine for animating complex melodic and rhythmic patterns on a per step basis, eliminating the limitations of traditional sequencing.
The countdown to a new era is here. Pre-order before May 27th and save $100

Something to dream about, but mainly for the pros
Intro price at $299 (regular price $399) puts it out of reach for most punters.
I think the trouble many users experienced with the recent Musicans Friend/Sample Logic sale, where licenses didn't work, makes one think twice before putting money in here.

After the last debacle, I don't think I would consider anything from them unless their MSRP was half of what they ask now. And even then, it would take a sale on that price to make me consider if the risk of dealing with them was justifiable.

Yeah, "Apology" would have been more fiting than "Arpology".
I doubt that this new product will be received with a Fanfare at KVR..

As one of the legal Fanfare customers who got his serial yanked for no explained reason, I'm joining the chorus of those who are never buying your garabage again. Hope you all burn in the fiery pit of Mordor, from whence you came.

But, not as
I wasn't one of those burned by the MF deal, but I followed the debacle and just wanted to post here to state that it reached beyond just those who were directly affected by it. I will also not buy anything from this company.

I won't be buying anything else from Sample Logic, but out of curiosity I listened to the demos, nothing "Ground Breaking" to my ears just more of the same from them.

I own a bunch of their products and suppose I should count myself lucky that I haven't had problems. I do think their products are overpriced, but there are occasional buy 1 get 1 free sales that I've taken advantage of.
I have a question about this new library, however ... Does anyone know if there is some sort of "init" patch whereby you can load your OWN sample into this engine? I watched the 20+ min overview video and there are some cool things here ... But I'm not sure I'll buy it if you can only use with their sounds ... ?

FYI, the links to the demo tracks on your site are currently pulling up HAVOC demos instead of Arpology Demos.

Huh... Maybe Give a little more detail? That same money will buy me the full Halion 5 or the full MachFive, both of which also include very capable Sequencers/Arpeggiators. What's unique about this product?
..off to play with my music toys - library music production.

Yes, me too, that was very funny, although I don't know anything about what happened in the past. Thanks for the chuckle.TheKid wrote: I laughed at "Apology" would have been more fiting than "Arpology".
