I actually thought it was cool, until you called for back-up... that was pretty cheesy. It's still a great song though.pheeleep wrote:What Eric? You saying my voice sucks?
Joking. Thanks for reviewing

haha... thanks Eric. Indeed, you caught on to my half ass attempt at acting.. lol.. I was actually going to redo the vocals but then said WTF and just posted what I had already done. It's ok.. I don't mind doing something cheezy once in a while...
Expect a review from me as well, in the days to come.
I am happy you like the song. Personally, I am a bit dissapointed, as I wanted to take it further even. Don't get me wrong, I like it a lot, but I don't love it. It's a good start, but I was hearing more in my head. it sounds a little empty in certain spots. If my hands weren't hurting so much these days I would have continued... but anyway, I didn't submit it to win the contest. I am much more interested in the feedback that I get from KVR'ians. Winning would just be an added bonus..
I have to let my hands rest these days so I can't do to much in Fl Studio.. oh well.. once I am back in shape I will deliver something I am 100% proud of..

Thanks for listening. Chipmunks, eh? I'm guessing most won't read the backstory of the entries now that we have the radio and other list. Ah well. Not that you'd be any more impressed with my tripe. Maybe just get an additional chuckle.Eric Bourne wrote:The ten latest songs...

I'm on a Mission from God!
Stream of consciousness stuff - good night at the pub.

Blaster 78 - Sorry. I got an error with this.
Pheeleep - Theme is good but it doesn’t seem to do enough.
Joenco - Good sounds. No theme
Farlukar - Doesn’t do anything but I like the layers.
Mystahr - I really like the build at 1 min.
Earth Tones - Wild and Wicked
Alba - Problem streaming
Plunge - Love It. Totally cool and together
Col -G - Nice groove
Dorx - Cool with vid. Standalone - not sure. Nice guitar though.
Rsmus6 - Good but not different enough.
Markleford - I like the atmosphere. Lead synth too predictable but improves after 1.20.
Thomask-DK - Rawks! Sick!
Mo Verdigast - Nice collage of sound bites.
Wopelka - Good sounds but it doesn’t quite hang together.
Glooper - I Love It - Tops.
Scuzzphut - Nice but doesn’t develop as it should.
Pepelogu - I like the good feel and atmosphere – it feels like a theme.
JTXX0000 - Yeah! Great guitars
Freeztar - Weird and wonderful - nice feel
Liqui - Nice sound but seems too random.
Uni-Con - Yes. I can see this .
Infektedm - Good production and feel.
Choochcat - Suitably Finky.
Bastien - Not found – sorry.
Nuisances Sonores - Good aural images. Not a theme though. (IMHO)
Armadillo - Good cinematic type theme music
Sepheritoh - Another good attempt at big theme - a bit loose though in parts.
Vurt - Ouch! Wicked sounds. Don’t see theme though.
Sciche - Great production and theme – fade seems to be a cop out.
Sason - Brill, sexy, sophisticated.
Sleek Month - Clever, tight, well produced theme.
Andreas - Very dramatically tragic.
Blue Days - Not found – sorry.
Beardedone - Nice orchestration - some loose elements though. Needs to be tighter
Eric Bourne - Nice sounds. Not thematic enough.
Hues - If I was a Robot, I could fall in love to this.
Jax - Very atmospherac music. Should have introduced change way earlier though.
Ixox - This is the movie theme business!!
Duncanparsons - Tight, evocative, great production. The fade is disappointing though.
Mffs - Nice atmosphere but doesn’t go anywhere
Bl1tz - Yeah I can see that.
Donkey Tugger - Magnificant!

Thanks though
The bass riff is courtesy of You-TM
Patrick - Took quite a bit of time and finetune programming to get the transition right. Thanks

not hanging together, i'm not sure to understand what you mean: the fact there's no real melody, perhaps?
