Haven't listened to the original in years, so just watched it on Youtube to refresh my memory.

A sublime piece of work.

The vocal track, like honey.

Wonderful playing from the band.

No doubt about it: all-round classic song.

Some of the best covers are the ones that I just don't expect to sound the way they do when I hear them because someone has taken a completely different approach to them. I didn't think I was going to like Nouvelle Vague's cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart, but I actually like this (and most of their material):

Disco flashback. I'd also like to thank the radio DJ programming director that I told to start playing Blondie that told me: Oh, she's just a punk band fad. They'll never last. I told him he was nuts and the whole album (Parallel Lines) was delicious.. He didn't work there very long...
