What do you think is the best Analyzer plugin?

If the question is limited to only frequency analyzers my choice is MAnalyzer by MeldaProduction.
Few years back I was searching for a frequency analyzer and I tested SPAN by Voxengo, FreqAnalyst by Blue Cat Audio and MAnalyzer by Meldaproduction and MAnalyzer was the easiest to configure so that I could say that what I hear and what I see are the same.
I'm sure you can get the other plugins to show the same or close to it but at that time I just chose MAnalyzer thinking it is the right one for me and I haven't regret.

I'll second the Melda analyzers - they're great! Both the free one and MMultiAnalyzer.Moonwrist wrote:If the question is limited to only frequency analyzers my choice is MAnalyzer by MeldaProduction.

Voxengo SPAN for free, and iZotope Insight for paid (can't believe no one has mentioned this yet - most gorgeous real time waterfall display I have ever seen!)

I use SPAN on every track. Best free analyzer. For mastering I use Insight from iZotope. Wouldn't dare to say it's the best, because that's also highly a matter of taste. And then how can you test and compare analyzers on a scientific basis. The normal user must trust that what they show is correct
There are a lot of analyzers out there you can buy. A lot of them were already mentioned.
I'd say if you're looking for free stuff: SPAN
Otherwise check them all out and see what GUI you like most (given that your feature needs are satisfied)

Nugen Visualizer is awesome, so happy to have it back now that it is 64bit.

Tend to agree. It can get the job done but is one of those Waves plugins that is in a need for UI refresh.TheoM wrote:cyphersuit wrote:What about waves paz?
it's ok but lacks many features and is a little clunky (IMO)
UI is too small. You can zoom in but it's not very convenient.
As a part of bundle I have found it useful but I would not buy it as a separate plugin.
