It can be a very deep and useful tool. On first try it seems limited, but spend a few hours with it and it shows a lot of versatility.
Very useful for adding suspense in video editing.

One thing that gets missed though is how useful it can be as an effect.
Like adding frequencies and sonic goodness to a track. In a easy way say that you finished a track so take the separate tracks and let them through Virtual ANS and then mix them together and see what it brings. Because it is hard to get that type of sound through other means and it can be subtle to. Just like a small expansion of the sound.
