New tune I just completed. Downtempo chord-progression stuff with a '90s rompler' soundstyle. All the sounds, save drums, come from the Quicksilver refill I recently purchased; which itself is from a Yamaha QS300 I believe.
Yeah I know the SFX are a little cheese, but I couldn't resist after I decided on the theme. Just wish I had a big stereo foghorn sample!

What a pleasant and smooth tune you present here. It made me turn up the volume to enjoy the rich and warm sound only more.

i like this, this is the sort of music you need at 3am in the morning when you get home from a night out.
I think the "cheesy" fx works in this context, they add to and blend into the song rather than just sounding silly and as if they've been stuck on top as an afterthought.

the chord progression is nice and the sounds all work together. it has, in my opinion, a slightly "eastern feel" at the moemnt.
the "fake" guitar is very nicely played/arranged and manages to be interesting withought it sounding too much like it should be a real guitar.

Glad you think so. I had the final solo/melody in my head for most of last night so thats a good sign. I know the limitations of midi guitar pretty good so the trick is not to do too much with it.the "fake" guitar is very nicely played/arranged and manages to be interesting withought it sounding too much like it should be a real guitar.
