here we go again:

- the song-file should also remember the settings
(zoom-factor, size of the window,snapping-setting etc.)of the midi-editor and the audio-editor

- midi-editing: eXt suffers from the same problem as
Tracktion - you try to move a note (or several) but also transpose it by mistake - a simple solution would be that the note's pitch gets locked when you press shift

I would help a lot if there would be keyboard-shortcuts for the mouse-wheel behaviour. As there are already
keyboard shortcuts for the snapping :hail: editing
midi could get really quick this way with a little bit of training. :D

What I consider being a buglette: apparently there is currently no way to turn snapping off with the keyboard shortcuts :? - or am I missing something?

Thanks, writing down all ideas ;)

Theres the ctrl + arrow keys to move/transpose and alt + arrow keys to resize note's. Is this what you mean?
- shortcuts are great, but sometimes handling things with the mouse can be quicker:
I would love it if we were able to just left-click and drag on the keyboard instead of using page up/down for scrolling the piano-roll while in-track-editing midi
you can already use right-click and drag to scroll almost everywhere :o

I've noticed this too, and in this thread we discussed the matter: http://www.kvr-vst.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46726

Don't know if this was already mentioned (I might have even asked for it myself ) but I'd love the window state of comps/vsts in the sequencer to be remembered as they are outside of it. So if I open a vst or two and a chord comp from within the sequencer, then place them where I want and save it, I want them to be where they were when I open the project again!!!

no - I actually meant being able to define the mouse wheel behaviour(scroll, tranpose, move, resize) with keyboard shortcuts (e.g. the arrows aren't used in the midi-editor) :)

:dog: - I tried to drag on the keyboard on the left (probably because I'm used to this behaviour from uisng Tracktion) but not inside the editor

thanks, Jorgen :D

I think we're after something similar here :D

not with my mouse - my mouse-button is set to send 'return' - I have to check at home if there
is a 'default'-setting :?

doesn't it represent a keyboard-function? :?
