when you add reverb but get rid of the after sound like the echo and still keep the reverb sound on the sound?
sorry if ive explained it poorly im tired as hell!

It's called "gated reverb"!

Some reverbs allow you to dial in 'early reflections' separately

Just put a GATE effect after the reverb.

Also if you want you can sample to another lane and just chop it in the end for a different type of effect. Like for use in Sampler in Ableton Live. Cut it short in the midi smaple lane.
