Any demos for the acoustic guitar capsule?

I'd like to know how it compares to another new product. And since it costs 1/2 of that other product it could be very attractive. Would it be possible to do realistic strumming as well as fingerpicking?

There are some things in there that promote good rhythm tracks. One of them is the atonal strum samples that you can mix for the in betweens and even layered over chords. When used well this can achieve incredib;e realism. However, because there are no chords recorded on this particular library the "strumming" would have to be done cleverly by you or a midi tool (such as arppegiators that do strumming). I even happen to have a Digitar which sounds absolutely amazing playing this library. I imagine a guitar controller would as well. From keys you have to be able to play a certain way to pull it off. I can sometimes do it pretty convincingly.
We'll have some demos up soon (maybe this week even). It's a superb collection that everyone at SR is really proud of. In fact, we have a few beta testers like Mr. Tunes who could give their opinions if they want. If you are looking for acoustic guitars though this is not to miss. Really.
Each of the Sonik Capsule libraries are excellent collections that should really be sold for more. In fact, we almost had to raise the price because the sheer amount of work and time spent on them was too much relative to what we're charging. But, $99 is just such an inviting price point that it will just have that much more bang for the buck then.

the acoustic guitar capsule is a steller library. the sounds are really pristine, and you get a lot of extra nuances of acoustic playing such as the mutes knocks, harmonics, finger noises. for the fact that you get to play these sounds on the most popular samplers like reason, sampletank and kontakt make it worth more than what is charged, definitely.Squids wrote:We'll have some demos up soon (maybe this week even). i will try to whip up some sounds for you to hear. my guitar with the synth pickup is not in this city with me right now, but when it is i would be happy to offer midi strums for the forum.
