Testing the new Win/MAC files for Wusik 4000 V1.0.4 Demonstration, anyone?

Guys, I finally got my MAC computer ready in-house and now I can start working the big installers for MAC users. But it has been some years since I did the EVE MAC installers, so I'm trying to catch-up...

Please, I have created a new dmg file for the Wusik 4000 V1.0.4 Demonstration, could some of you test and let me know if I did good? Any hints, pointers, please?

Edit: the new Windows installer is also ready, we are now using a cross-platform installed we created with JUCE to handle both Windows and MAC OSX installs.

Format: VST/AU 32 and 64 bits - only one restriction: doesn't save presets. Apart from that is unlimited, does not expire, does not time-out, no volume-changes or noises.

EDIT: DL window says about 35 minutes, and has lost connection 4 times, so giving up for now. let us know when u sort that out..!

That's a pretty minor limitation on the demo version. Hopefully it will be appreciated and eventually pay off.

I do not follow, you say you can't download? We use a shared server, so at times it could be a bit bad, just try again now, please?

I just tested, and the download is indeed a bit slower. I had to use Firefox + Download Them All to get a better speed by using multiple connections. I will contact HostGator and check how we can improve that... Thanks.

WARNING: don't use this if you already have Wusik 4000 Data files stored in the root folder, as it will erase some folders, I have to check out how to prevent that...

I'm also talking with the HostGator support on how to speed up the download...

it starts downloading, then stops. i get a network lost message.

EDIT: i have an extremely highspeed connection, but dl shows '1 hour remaining'...crazy for a 144mb file..

They say it will take a bit more time to fix it, so don't give up just now even if it is slow... please?

dude, just stopped again, after 7.2mb downloaded. "network connection was lost'. started 2 more times, failed 2 more times.

keep us posted, am up for trying again later...

The server does that once and a while I've noticed, likely when several d/ls are active for whatever reason. It usually is fine a bit later.

over an hour since my first attempt, and new dl estimate is about 1 hour, 22 minutes...oops! network connection lost. you need to sort this out: speed, and network stability.

tried again, stopped again.

for comparison:downloaded an 842mb file (from novationmusic), and that took 2 minutes. a 144mb file should take under a minute.

let us know if it's better, and will try again later today...

Yup, I will take care of that, already contacted support for that, as usually is fast, sorry for that. In any event I will need to replace the dmg file as I found a serious error anyway.

I did manage to download the Windows files yesterday, but it was extremely slow and I lost connection a few times. Good to hear that you're looking into this

Is a bit faster now, but still 50% of what it could be on my internet... I hope HostGator fix this soon...
