another lovely piece - beautiful melody, relaxed but still eccentric - I kept hearing bits where I thought - How did he think of that it was so unusual but fitted perfectly.

That sound is a Synplant patch I made, called Dusty Flute I believe. It's part of the free Spore set I released a while back, available here:
