Hi Folks,
I wrote this short piece of symphonic music based on my (conflicted) feelings while watching the Reagan State Funeral.
I was no supporter of him as President, and in fact voted against him, but the ritual, ceremony and palpable sense of time passing moved me deeply.
This is all done in SampleTank:

very very nice, enjoyable music.
deep.
how did you write it? note after note in a pianoroll and/or a staff thing? or did you record it live with your midikeyboard?
the only thing a bit odd, is the placement of instruments in the stereo field. not what we are expecting when listening an orchestra, even a virtual orchestra
but that's just a little detail.

Great tune with some nice orchestration. The strings seems to wander a tiny bit too long on the same chords though. Very good song generally.

A soft murmuring melody where the incoming melody played tricks on my ears. Sampletank only; that's cool. I guess what I was missing was a bit of drama in the melody, but then again, with the given story of conflicting emotions this represents it better without much drama.
