P.s I've used a few presets in my tune from you people at kvr so thanks for giving me those sounds.

hey nice to hear a bit of trance. gets a bit of a knocking here on kvr sometimes but only in a friendly way  , and I'm sitting here in a Transient t- shirt so cant say anything bad really

One comment would be i think that your break down is a bit too long perhaps? Its good to have a good breakdown but htis one might have me wandering off after pretty girls if i were in a club instead of, er, reaching for the lasers

yeah I know what you mean but I love this long Scot Project style breakdown, thats what I was aiming for, so you like it apart from that?

It's missing that sparkle somehow. It's okay though, sounds used are good and the trance-leads are hookey enough. I was never keen on long breaks for the very reason Jim said.

I would say with such a long break go for a heavy climax, but I seem to be missing that somehow, after the vocal sample it even seems to go down instead of up. People on the dancefloor want to be excited and pushed.

sounds a bit thin for this kind of music, like if we were hearing your track behind a door or something.

this is probably due to the lack of high frequencies and to a narrow stereo field?

IMHO, you may want to check your compressors and EQs as well.

i'm far from being a trance nerd but i enjoyed the structure of your song, particularly these breakdowns (please note that i don't listen to this music with a dancer's point of view).

cheers think that might be the mp3 it sounds a lot brighter on the original.

Not bad at all 8) . But perhaps I would start the voice much earlier in the breakdown. And would use a bit of a sweeping phaser sometime, maybe in the lead, Overused? Maybe not. Mind that trance is not my game anyway.

And I agree with the previous comments, on the production side :)
Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.

enjoyable..

but the break is too long and the pauses are.. well.. too long and unnecessary (get rid of them), you really should move on to the wild build-up much more quickly, keep some of the pads in the break but keep it short. The filter sweep at the beginning of the build-up is too slow as well and should reach almost full throttle way earlier. All these factors take the drive out of your song, and that's a problem since trance is all about energy and drive and not a lot of patience, those pills don't work for ever you know ;)

the sound lacks oumph, it's a bit on the thin side - again, not enough energy, trance is all about that energy.. some better eqing and compression will help

but it's a decent song, some good melodies, good build-up (apart from the break)

Hey I understand what you all saying but isn't the break being to long long a mattr of opinion, I got lots of Hard Trance tracks that have even longer breaks than mine and I love them.

I know a lot of you don't understand this style of music cause all the websites that I've posted it on that are based around trance say the break is excellent.

Cheers for the comments though, still learning on my compression and EQ so I'll give it another try at mixing it down.
