Yes, I like the delay and microshift built into the strip for that reason. It does seem like a lot of plugin to just give away though. I can see why people would have their doubts.valhallasound wrote: I'll download this later today and check it out. It seems like an interesting combination of effects, with a focus on things that are used on vocals.

Tough call. At first glance, these sound on a similar quality level, but you get more options with TDR/Slick. The Q-Pressor is smooth and spanky, I gotta say. Delay/pitch is nice.AstralExistence wrote:vs tdr comp and slick eq as a track/master bus solution?

I got it in my email .
I was thinking I don't need it with having Soundtoys but just started trying the delays of Ultrachannel with Eventide Blackhole oooooooo errrrrrrrrrrrrrr nice:) Thanks Eventide.
Just be careful changing presets they clip like crazy while they change.

i love how good slick and tdr works for cleaning up sound. but im looking for 'better'. that is, not similar in sound but better then using tdr and slick. so wondering what processionals think? it would be awesome to replace tdr and slick, but im not looking for a jack of all trades plugin if that's the case, ill just use tdr slick and h-delay.

This is nice - Tracktion users might like this as a (much better) alternative to the defunct channel plugin that used to ship with it.

Anyone having issues with Cubase (Artist here) 7.5 after installing this plugin?
None of the Inspector modules will expand now for any track on any song (even new one) now. :c (
Was working fine before..

Works like what? IIRC, the soundtoys freebies are no longer available, I went looking for the tube pre sim a few days ago and discovered that it was, like the eventide thing, a time limited promo. My timing sucks, I missed out on the NI christmas gift this year and didn't download the mac version of it a couple of years ago, bah!V0RT3X wrote:signed up and BAM i just got my first ILOK plugin
Anyone know if soundtoys works like this?

I'm just wondering if you can demo the native bundle and not have to use a physical ILOK.ghettosynth wrote:Works like what? Only Soundtoys Microshift works like this the rest require ilok dongle. Soundtoys Little Primaltap was ilok manager but no dongle so I presume when the bigger version comes out it will be the same as Microshift.V0RT3X wrote:signed up and BAM i just got my first ILOK plugin

Think you need ilok dongle to demo the older Soundtoys plugs.
Just found out Ultrachannel is a plugin from 2006, explains the GUI but still sounds great.
