I looked at the demo and all of those fields are menu driven. If they were text fields it would be rather easy to create a third party tool for that, to load the fields with patch and bank data, but not so easy (or maybe not even possible) with all that being driven by menus.

That was pretty much the point Kraznet was making when I suggested maybe someone could come up with something...there is a solution though albeit antiquated*LawrenceF wrote:I looked at the demo and all of those fields are menu driven. But of course samp also has a comment box for every track as well p#=**...I always figured this is why patches have numbers and names*
I do agree however that it's curious why a program with as much skinning and appearance options Samp has that you cannot customize patch lists, that does seem a bit shortsighted, but it's been brought to the attention of the devs as I understand it so never say never
*OP, please take no offense at my cheekiness...

You could try this free patch selector plugin this guy made for S1...

Hello,
my question is related to the "Hardware Controller Easy Learn" function that is in the plugin menu. I understood how to set it up and use it with a Evolution XS-Session, Generic Midi Data.
Now I am comparing this function with the Midi Learn Function of many VSTs and expect SAM to behave in a similar manner. But it doesn't! Looks like ingoing midi controller data is tied to one function only. But what I expect to happen is, that when I switch to another track, and make in active, with another plugin, it will allow me to control different parameters. In other words, I want to assign specific controller messages for example #7 or #11 to Knobs in various plugins. Is that even possible with the plugins that come with SAM?
Hope you understand my question,
Thanks!
