Why not keep an eye on the marketplace here? Massive seems to change hands fairly often and for reasonable prices.

Hi, are you talking about Boxed version? Cuz I heard that download version is NFR anyway. Probably there is a point to buy a boxed version then in the Market Place.

I don't see why NI would block the resale of Massive, although if it's the free version that you receive with Maschine then that would be NFR. However, if someone bought Massive as a standalone product, I would think they should be able to resell it.

@subject: I think that if someone asks permission to sell they generally say yes. They always have to me. And transfers are usually quick and painless.

It's really too bad in my situation because I have komplete, but I also have a license that came with maschine and I've inquired....can't be given away.

I have been wanting to pick up Komplete Ultimate and have been waiting for a sale.

With the 50% off upgrade options currently, available, what is the cheapest way to get Komplete 9? Kontakt for $400 + crossgrade for $375 = $775 which is a decent savings off the usual price tag but still a pretty penny.

Am I missing a better option from the NI online store? Is there a reliable method to get an older, cheaper version of a product eligible for Utimate crossgrade? (for users of MASCHINE STUDIO, MASCHINE, KONTAKT, REAKTOR 2-5, GUITAR RIG KONTROL)

Thanks for the tip.

After logging into the NI site, it turns out that I long ago registered a Kontakt-based sample library and am thus eligible for a crossgrade to full Kontakt for $125. That in turn would apparently make me eligible for the Ultimate crossgrade at $375, total price of $500. So "find the cheapest possible Kontakt-based sample library" might be a good strategy for anyone looking to get a good bargain on Komplete.

When to expect another sale from Native Instruments?
