Hi I bought IO4 and it came with Cubase Le5 free. Not only is it very difficult to load it seems to have corrupted my lap top
. So looking for another DAW I cam across MuLab - looks good. SO before I download it, is it compatible?
Thanks for any help.

Read this: http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mulab/audio-setup.html
And this: http://www.alesis.com/io4On Windows best of all use the specific ASIO driver that comes with your sound device. If no such driver exists then you could try Asio4All. Please note that Asio4All is not a MuTools product, if you need support on Asio4All please go to the Asio4All website. If Asio4All isn't working for you, then select Driver Type = MME Audio, Driver Name = Sound Mapper.
That knowledge combined means it will work, but you probably need Asio4All for lower latency. You could use the MME (class compliant) driver, but that's not low latency (which you also don't really need for recording, only when you want to hear synths you play or guitar effects that are VST based)Key features

This product is class compliant; it does not require drivers
