Gross Beat Alpha 2:
No text in presets, but presets work great:

When close gross beat vst (white box):

Ableton live 9.1.2
the same issues with preset text..

Greetings, Alpha 3 introduces Harmor. We now have Alphas for Harmor, Sytrus, Maximus and Gross Beat available as native 32 Bit OS X VST plugins.

More info and links here

Anyone can create an Image-Line account to access them from the forum. Image-Line Customers, who have moved over to OS X, and are missing these plugins can let us know how they perform. Please remember these are in Alpha stage.

Changes (Alpha 3)

Introducing Harmor
UI-code optimized to use less CPU
Preset menus open much faster
Sytrus: Analyze/Export waveform now works
Sytrus: XY modulation works

64 Bit versions will be along later.

You should be able to use the 32 Bit AU version of Minihost Modular to bridge these in AU compatible hosts also.

We have a VST to AU bridge. Nothing beyond that is certain.

The bottom part of the IMG gui is cutoff and inaccessible at the moment

this in Tracktion but I assume it would be like this in other hosts too - it's also incredibly sluggish in terms of gui refresh and audio (changing a preset takes about a second or more)

but great to have it at all on Mac so can't wait till it is fully working

We just updated to Alpha 4 please let us know if it fixes your problem...

Yes fixed, and I'm pleased the presets are more accessible now they are in menus. Now the main issue is the sluggish gui - feels like it's not using any hardware graphics acceleration. If I change a preset it's like slowly morphing between two presets - the sliders and knobs take over a second to move to new positions. It also makes it very hard to edit envelopes.

How do I add new presets in this release? - I have searched my harddrive and can't find where presets are stored for Harmor or Sytrus on Mac.

OK it looks like the presets are being stored inside the VST package - which is not clever as it means if I install a new version I lose them, plus I can't save to that location. There needs to be a user preset location.

Also I tried loading several patches made on the Windows version into Sytrus and they were horribly (speaker destroying) distorted and loud.
