I will also upload a new Windows installer in a few minutes.

Forgot to say that we also changed several things on the installer, thanks to some user feedback, and made it easier to handle.

And here's the new Windows Demonstration...

Thanks bud, could you tell me when it happens? A step-by-step guide?

Post

Anyone else tested on OSX? I'm still waiting for the reports... Thanks again!

1) Download dmg file.
2) Click dmg file to open: a window pops up with an _InstallFiles folder and a Wusik 4000 installer icon.
3) Double-clicking the installer file pops open the generic "this is an application downloaded from the internet" notification box.
4) A second later, a second window opens saying "Wusik 4000 Installer quit unexpectedly." This process keeps looping over and over.

worked fine here. maybe...delete the dmg, re-download and try again...in case the entire file didn't download...might explain the problem...

Thanks bud. But I will still check the code, just in case, to see if there's any problem I didn't see...

Post

Ok,I found the problem, the app and also the plug-ins will require at least OSX 10.8.0 in order to run, since we are using XCode 5, the latest compiler from Apple... I will check into that, but I wonder how many MAC users are running older OS...

Post

I changed the compiler settings to check if that fixed the situation on OSX 10.8. If it runs, I will do the same for the plugin. (if it is not working)

Here's just the App (1 meg download)
http://www.wusik.com/w4kpublic/MAC_Wusi ... ppTest.dmg

And here's the whole thing (146 Meg)
http://www.wusik.com/w4kpublic/MAC_Wusi ... n_Test.dmg

Please, could you test this one in the problematic OSX 10.8 where you had problems with? Thank you!

Post

Did the new compiled app fixed the OSX problems? I need to know this so I can move forward with the app. ;-) Sadly I updated both my MACs so I no longer have an older test machine, but I guess I need to find a way to downgrade, not sure if Apple allows that...

Post

seriously, mac users should be running 10.8 by now... lots of apps that require at least 10.8.... just a thought...

Good to know, but the user who had problems was running OSX 10.8, so something is bad and I need to figure out what.

Post

Ok, I got it running on OSX 10.6 so it should work on OSX 10.8 too. I also fixed all files, plugins, etc ... so the whole thing now runs on both MAC machines I have here: 10.6 and 10.9

Here's the new file:
