And others haven't heard the saying "sh*t happens"... We've moved forward, most have moved on or forward about it, we'll either see you in July using it or not. Your choice.

a problem i see for ik multimedia is one of their reps would come on different forums and state... "buy other ik multimedia products to get the jam points and use it on the ST 3 upgrade"... and what is funny... this same individual stated... "ik multimedia does not use project plan either"... so that begs the question... why would "any" ik multimedia rep make those statements? to make a buck?

and what exactly is so strange in the rep statements? i can't see it. two statements both have nothing to do with each other.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

let look at the first statement first... buy ik multimedia to get jam points to purchase ST3... just imagine if an individual did that... where would they be today... i.e. very upset... why? because you cant use your jam points... the second statement... about a "project plan"... indicates a trend in not telling the truth... there are other statements too that i will not get into... that appears to be made with the truth not the bases of the statement...murnau wrote:and what exactly is so strange in the rep statements? i can't see it. two statements both have nothing to do with each other.
now individuals are upset because those statement have turned into lies...
therefore the connection between the statements is if the ik multimedia reps had been honest from day one... a lot of these issues that they are face with would not be issues today...
hope that help!!!

helps not really..
first issue is plain wrong. you can use the jampoints in a promo and that will be the introduction price (which wasn't possible before). pre-order is something different which falls out completely of a regular promo sale (and not only at IK). i actually never saw a low pre-order combined with a customer discount on top of that. Xils and other comes to mind.
second you don't have an insight anyway so a rep can tell you everything he wants or in short: he don't need to lie to you because well.. ..you still don't have any insight.

one would think... if the reps are saying to purchase other ik multimedia product to get jam points to use towards ST 3... it would not make any difference between "introduction price" or "promo sale" or any other price structure... now... if that information was available upfront... then i do understand your point... only problem... it was not!!! actually... the information the way it played out was misleading...murnau wrote:helps not really..

Sh*t seems to happen a lot at IK.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:And others haven't heard the saying "sh*t happens"... We've moved forward, most have moved on or forward about it, we'll either see you in July using it or not. Your choice.
I wish I could use that line whenever I decided to just change my mind or cover my ass for lying. In the real world that's not good enough for most people.
