i wish there was a ghost in my machine

I built my SX box about 4 months ago. Got stuff installed... happy as pie!!

My system was running great. I wasn't getting any of the "common" problems that others report. Midi timing was fine... etc.

I am connected to the net... after installing Komplete 2 and Instant Messenger 6.2... i started getting the some weirdness.

1. When i click on any of my drives C,D,E... even the DVD-ROM... i sometimes have to wait for 20 seconds for it to pop up on my desktop.

2. Gigastudio can't find my DIGI 9652 anymore. I get an initialization error. #218. "GigaStudio is experiencing initialization problems - error 218"

3. I am now getting the close SX and wait 3 minutes bug. Never had this until now. It sure is a pain.

4. While zooming in i get long screen pauses between zooms. Playback is fine while zooming. But this is a new phenomenom.

I really don't want to reinstall. I tried system restore and it didn't fix any of these issues.

i guess this is what i get for not ghosting it.

Anyone else ever experience #1 ???

That´s what you get for installing stuff from the devils own table.
Ni is EVIL and they do all they can to stop you using your computer with other soft than their own.
They are even taking money for demos.
