Thanks barryfell.

For updating the Shruthi, the free C6 from Elektron is quite often praised : maybe it woudl work fine with the Blofeld too ?

(Else, Reaper is ok)

Still no info about a changelog (from FB or Waldorf forums) ?

What a let down. The clock sync is broken in this release for me. :dog:

The encoders are nice and smooth now, with no jumping around like often happens on older versions, but it's absolutely useless to me being unable to sync the likes of the arp to my DAWs tempo. It just jumps around all over the place.

Back to v1.16b2 I go which has no problem with timing.

Maybe it works on some setups/DAWs, but not mine. (Win/Live)

Evil Dragon ran into 2 more issues

Maybe I'll wait for release candidate 3....

Hm so to install that one or to wait?Do they plan to change a bit the algorithm or just put the machine in ebay ?

Post

I rolled back to V1.16b2 again after testing it.

The good new things i noticed was:
-Smoother effects and less ringing sound from the Reverb.
-A new option in the Global midi menu called Program send next to local on/off so that Waldorf send program change messages to vst's for example.

The Bad things.
-Double notes played when using the midi in with a cable (Not usb in).
-Very steppy filter cutoff knob (Tried with usb).
-Problem detection blofeld midi in/out after i switch it on and off when using Usb cable.
-No visual Sinewave.

Then i went back to V 1.16b2 again and i won't try it out before a new release is ready.

Did you experience some of the bugs i mentioned?
The double note chorus like sound is easiest to hear when you use a init preset.

Could someone please post the official list of bugfixes/features?

Will check later today. So far I only noticed the two issues I posted on Waldorf board.

Thanks for the upload. :)

So are these new bugs only related to using USB MIDI with the 'feld?

If not, i shall stick to using my existing firmware..

Blast. This was in 1.18 too.

I'll stick to 1.16 for now.
