hello folks...I posted a few time about trying to get a good master sofware . I decided to go for t-racks instead of waves :o . I'm still using t-racks demo until i get "hopefully soon " the boxed version . I have some questions about it though . how can i get the manual or first steps to start....in the web they dont have it . 2- the presets are good , but i dont understand why when i try to change to another preset i pull down the preset list and it goes o fast i cant even select half of them . 3 -in the preset list there are 3 options , one is depend the plug in ..like compressor , then default , then suite...whats that all about .4..whats the cliper and limiter for...whats the order i have to use for individual track mastering??....is the compressor first followed by eq and then???....I make house music and techno...anyone have good presets for this style of music....thank you so much..... :)

okay lets start with the easiest.... you gotta go to the T-Racks folder and regroup the presets... put them in subfolders... maybe 10 each.... this way you can workaround the fast scrolling and have access to the "middle-sets"

the clipper is for simulating satuaration.... a subtle kind of distortion... and you can blend from digital to analog clipping......

the limiter is a sort of compressor.... but instead of making the quiet stuff louder it makes the loud stuff quieter... and it limits the output to 0dB (when set to 0 dB)

and you can achieve some EQ-listic changes with the multiband limiter.. but be carefull with it.... I would suggest to simply check out the presets... and see how the controlls change.... in order to get a feeling for it

cheers,
mully

Hi guys,

I figured I would have to regroup the presets to access them better. It's my only complaint with T-racks.. love it otherwise.. I just got it last week and use it on everything now..

I was going to post the same thing about the scroll down menu going down too fast.. You can't pick the presets because it scrolls past them too fast. An easy solution would be to just make that box bigger. I don;t see why it has to be so small. Then you could see all the presets at one glance for one given category..

I think the manual isn't available on purpose.. because of Warez..

Just wait t'il you get your boxed version. The PDF manual is also installed in the T-Racks folder once you install it. Did you check there? it might already be in your T-racks folder right now ( the demo version one ).. I don't know though..
