Right, so where's the Android phone with 160GB of storage and a battery that will stand up to playing music all day and still have enough for web surfing and GPS and telephone and and all the other things I need it to do?chk071 wrote:Nowadays, every Android phone has a decent to pretty good sound chip included, so there's not even the need to buy a dedicated MP3 player anymore.
This is what I hate about the mp3 player market these days. My current player is an iPod Classic that I bought used on eBay, because everybody seems to have stopped trying to store lots of music and just stream everything.
Anyway. My first player was a 128MB Creative Labs MuVo without a screen. After that I went Rio Carbon, then the original Zune, then a Zune 80 (which was stolen from me by a janitor), then a Zune 120, then a Cowon J3, then my current iPod Classic 160.
In terms of sound quality, I'd say Cowon > Zune > iPod > Rio > MuVo.
