I'm on an i7 3770k and it took quite a bit for it to load the license from the sever when I first opened it. I recently was getting a crash when doing some specific, but with that combined with the long load time, I stopped using it. Even after I bought some cabs. Too much hassle.b15fliptop wrote:Weird. I've been using it quite a bit in live and S1 lately. I've decided on 3 cabinets from the new ones, but can't make up my mind on the other two (I've got that sales pitch of 5 in my head 
)
I should just buy the 3 and I'd actually save money

Recently used it on a bass track as pat of the KVR Mix Challenge (Production Techniques sub board).
Was undecided. To me it feels like as if WoS also acts as a "Bass Amp" if I use one of the bass presets. So plugging a Tech21 BassDriver in front of it is probably not such a good idea. Unless you're really, really after a dark and dirty rock bass rather than a pop one.
And I still need to get at least one cabinet to stop the "demo mode".

Yeah, the BassDriver simulates a mic'ed up bass amp, so adding WoS on top is just adding another mic and cabinet to the ones already being modeled by the BDDI. I wouldn't think that would work very well.

Really?! I thought the BassDriver was NOT like the Behringer ULTRA-G GI100. And I always had the impression, that the software clone by TSE also didn't use a cabinet simulation. Must have been wrong the whole time. 
Else... yes... WoS post any guitar head is an absolute monster!
I don't use any cabinet bundled with AT3, PODfarm or even GuitarRig anymore. I basically only use these suites due to the stompboxes and heads. I'm not even touching IR's anymore either.
Yes, it's that good. Even if it's a bit CPU hungry and sometimes bit hard to control in terms of microphone placement. It's not made to "visually please" with very detailed "mic at grill" placement GUI after all.

I got the NOS, the 1935, the "browny" the greenartC (though you could get the other and I don't think they are that far off) and goldfinger.
They are all better at sitting in a mix than the cabs I had but have some beef. I especially like the greenartC with the 121 and some eq'ing.

I have the browny, GreenArtC, and Goldfinger as well. I like the browny, but ended up getting the NB412, too, and that is now my favorite Greenback model. The CalifStdC is a great Vintage 30 cab, and the Ferret is a nice variation on that sound. Good stuff!
