I can't figure out how to arpeggiate in step mode. When I set the Arp to step it seems to only play from the first note I hit, so it plays like a sequencer.
Can anyone tell me how to make the arp arpeggiate in step mode?

Step mode IS a step sequencer.
You can set it to play
-melodies (set the transpose + - numbers)
-rhythm (use the velocity - set zero for mute, use the right arrow to extend the notes)
Also works in chord mode.
Hope it helps.
Cheers,
Joseph

It won't arpeggiate in Step mode. You have to set the mode to Up, Down, Up/Down, Up/Down 2, Down/Up, Down Up 2, Random, or Ordered.Echoes in the Attic wrote:I can't figure out how to arpeggiate in step mode. Oh no, I was afraid of that! Thanks guys. Too bad, the way it's set up seems like it should arpeggiate it.

Spire has quickly become one of my favorite synths. I especially like the mod matrix that has all the fx parameters as destinations. This opens a whole world of possibilities. Only thing I wish for is to have more waveforms for the oscillators.
What other synths besides spire can modulate the effects using the mod matrix?

From the top of my head, Circle, Massive, Diversion... Quite a lot actually, I know I've seen more.filter303 wrote:Spire has quickly become one of my favorite synths. Zebra... in addition to being able to modulate the fx parameters, there are a variety of fx modules which can be ordered and routed freely... if you want to eq just the wet signal of the reverb, or add distortion to just the delay, it is easy.BDeep wrote:From the top of my head, Circle, Massive, Diversion... I have both Sylenth and Spire. I love them both but Spire usually ends up on every track I'm working on lately. Just picked up Sychonautics soundset by Tetarise and it has many killer sounds! $15. It's a bargain for certain.mysticvibes wrote:+1 I love Spire. Do grab the synchoacoustic bank and the spire edm essentials 1 bank. My take is they complement one another in sound signature. Sylenth1 is a bit more middy and has this almost broadcast-like sound to it (almost as if there is a compressor and eq or something behind the scenes). Spire is more featured, sounds a bit more flat and even, and has a much more alive development cycle.arkmabat wrote:I've been thinking about Sylenth1, but I think I'm more interested in Spire now.
They layer together well.
