Why did you feel the need to include "Female Artist" in your list? It's just a matter of "political correcteness" isn't it? If Kate Busch didn't deserve to be in any of the other categories, why not simply leave she out? Why create a special "female" category. AFAIK "female" is not a musical quality.

Besides that, great list :tu:

BTW - Gymnopedie nº 1 is not a song - is a piano piece.

Fair question,
I think the "Female" category is really the result of I could not think of any other category for good old KB.
I was just listening to her recently ans thinking how important her work is as an artist.
Thus, the inclusion... :)

(Maximun 3 songs)

:phones:

Today?

"Days of Wine and Roses" - Johnny Mercer
"You Send Me" - Sam Cooke
"I Only Have Eyes For You" - The Flamingos

Because today, I'm a romantic. Deal.

Tomorrow it might be three songs by Ian Curtis.

Next day it could be songs by Meshuggah, Cannibal Corpse, and Cradle of Filth. Deal with that as well.

Yeah, that's a good way to look at it. Favorite lists can make our enjoyment seem a much more static deal than it really is.

I'll go for the nostalgia trip now, as these tunes my parents used to play are coming back to me a lot these days.

Chris Rea - Road to Hell
Laurie Anderson - O Superman
Ray Lynch - Rhythm in the Pews
