Looks like the automatic voting system just shut off.
That means: the voting process is over!
Thanks for your participation.
However...
Before we announce the winners podium, I ask for Uncle E to cast his vote. We do have a tie for 3rd place, and chances are we might add 4th and 5th places as well (which are currently somewhat on a tie as well).
We assume at this point, that those participants that did not publicly write "I voted", are not interested in winning anything - even if they make it to the winner podium.

This is interesting. If participants who didn't vote are not in fray then we don't have tie. For example, I didn't see "Shroom Feverish" vote, so that leaves only Photonic with 5 points and as do_androids_dream opted out, that leaves only Halma with 4 points.

Then let's sum up the numbers currently as of this moment:
Dropped from the pool: do_androids_dream
Voting (top 5 are in bold):
7: mwaudioprod
6: Compyfox
5: photonic, shroom feeverish (no voted tag)
4: Halma
3: No Use
2: Doc Dan, Wooden Cube (no voted tag)
1: camsr, Max Synth, Uncle E, Headphone (no voted tag), Arglebargle (no voted tag), Davias
0: kbaccki, 3ee (no voted tag), Yeager
Even if people didn't vote, they still won IMO. But in terms of sharing won goods - it's actually simple this time around.
What has the headmaster to say to this? He can still vote and change the outcome.
And there is still a chance that these particular winners say "sorry - giving my price away" or something of those sorts.

Wow, I made the 1st place. Unfortunately, I have trouble with English, so I'll keep this short.
I want to thank everyone who voted for my mix! I also want to thank you for this great contest, the organizers and of course the sponsors. It was a very interesting contest for me and I am looking forward to the next. What happens now, how do I get my prize?
Greetings

The next MC is already in place.
Furthermore, we finally decided on a fair way how to declare the winners. We don't have a winners podium of 3 or 5, maybe 6 or so people... but the winners amount are declared by:
participants divided through 4, result rounded down.
or
participants / 4 = winner amount (rounded down)
In our case we initially had 18 entries, though one person withdrew during the challenge.
If we roll the numbers: 17 / 4 = 4,25 ==> rounded down 4 winners.
Please take note of the new rule here, which is an idea that spawned in the KVR OSC:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 4#p5798474
AGAIN:
We currently debate the tie on third place and hope to get it sorted within the next days. So please bear with us. In the meantime, you can all enjoy MC02, or give feedback in to the "submission feedback and FAQ" thread for MC01
The upper mentioned ones are the temporary numbers. We internally discuss the tie for third place and whether or not our headmaster casts an additional vote. Once we got all that sorted, we officially announce the winners. Those who won and voted, and therefore apply to win something, need to get in touch with user Satyatunes to get their licenses after you chose one from the available pool.mwaudioprod wrote:What happens now, how do I get my prize?

Yet another double post, but we finally got most things sorted.
Our headmaster will not cast a vote this time around. I'll get to that shortly.
I hereby present the official winners of the KVR Mix Challenge 01 (June 2014).
The winners were declared by the new participants/4 rule, as can be read in the new Rules and Guidelines.
We do have a tie however on third place. But since people can actually only win stuff if they cast a vote, and mentioned that in the thread, things are simple.
So the following people are entitled to pick up free licenses:
mwaudioprod, Compyfox, photonic and Halma
CONGRATULATIONS!
And thanks for your participation. I hope you had fun and could learn a thing or two.
Please give us another 24-48 hours to internally sort out how we handle the license thing (if we contact you, or you contact us - if we debate in public who gets what, etc). Especially in case the winners choose the same bundle (again: first come, first serve), or what will happen if somebody mentions on short notice "I'll give my license away" or mentions "meh, the other stuff doesn't interest me".
We are new to this, so please bear with us. The free licenses won't run away.
We'll definitely keep you informed.

What a nice surprise.
Thx to everyone who participated and voted. And congratulations to all other winners.
I am not quiet sure how this "first come first serve" functions. I made the last place so I should be the last who decide what I wanna have. I am fine with everything though I already own Warmverb from Tone2 and down´t have reaktor.
The Meldathingy looks cool and so does the Sonivox stuff (have not heard of them before, but especially Pulse looks badass). Camel audio stuff would be a no brainer too.
Anyways, looking forward to the next MC.
Have a nice weekend all.
Regards
Sebastian

Hi all,
I feel the same surpise as Halma to become 3rd in place!
When I heard that there are al lot of contenders with a pro backround in mixing with all their high value plugins I felt really challenged. I thought I would have no chance with all my freeware plugins.
Now it seems that all my mixes of my OSC tracks and some practice with tracks from Mike Seniors website, helped me to reach a certain level.
I wanna thank again Compyfox and Uncle E for their effort, running this MC.
And special thank also to satYatunes to sourcing the prizes. Glad to see that those are other prizes as in the OSC.
cheers!
