Just downloaded SquashIt a free AU Multiband Distortion.
Haven't had chance to try it out yet. There is also an iPad version.
Got to be worth a try.

Not bad at all 
It can be used quite subtly or it can get very nasty in a digital way.
Sure it can't compete with the likes of Ohmicide,Saturn etc. But it is very simple and easy to use.
Seems to be very stable too. Being as its free no reason not to give it a go
No dodgy installers or anything like that. I just wish the coloured bands were a tad brighter and less dulled in colour. All in all a nice little freebie though.
